  • Identify and evaluate exposure to chemical substances including dust, fumes, vapors, gases and biohazards
  • Identify and evaluate exposure to physical hazards including noise
  • Conduct air and noise sampling

 

 

Exposure Control

 

  • Review or design reasonable, effective engineering and administrative control measures to minimize employee exposures to chemical and physical hazards

 

  • Evaluate existing industrial ventilation systems to determine their effectiveness, and provide continuing ventilation monitoring programs
  • Design and evaluate noise exposure control programs

 

  • Develop or audit hearing conservation programs

 

  • Evaluate and recommend effective personal protective equipment

 

  • Develop or audit written respiratory protection programs

 

  • Provide respirator training and fit testing
